Holloway Reservoir Regional Park

5,500 acres, including 1,975-acre Holloway Reservoir.

 

Genesee Recreation Area

4,540 acres, including Richfield Park and 600-acre Mott Lake.

Linden County Park

135 acres, 15349 S. Linden Road, Linden, MI 48451 

Admission and Hours

Free admission. Beaches are open May 28-September 6, 2010.

No lifeguards will be on duty during the 2010 season.

Park attendants will be on duty at Bluebell, Buttercup, and Clover from May 28-September 6, 2010.

The Genesee County Health Department monitors the water quality on a weekly basis from May until September.


May 28 – September 6, 2010                   
 

Bluebell  Daily: 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.                  
 

Clover & Buttercup Daily: 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
 

Bluebell Beach Splash Pad May 28 – September 12, 2010
Daily: 12 Noon – 8 p.m.

  • Uses City water, not water from Mott Lake.

  • Water is fresh, not recycled.

  • Free

  • The only free splash pad in Genesee County.

  • Is a zero-depth and barrier free surface.

  • Parents are required to monitor their children.

  • Features a patio area with picnic tables.

  • Adjacent to the playground.

  • Splashpad is only for children under 12 years of age. Anyone over 12 must be accompanied by a child.

  • No running allowed.

  • No squirt guns, water balloons, buckets, etc.

  • No water fighting allowed.

 

Bluebell Beach Park area only open until snowfall; same hours as above.


Alcohol Policy for All Parks
No alcohol or illegal substances allowed. Park rangers will issue tickets with fines of up to $100 for all violations.
