STANLEY SCHOOL HOUSE PROGRAM

Welcome to the Stanley School House program. The Stanley Schoolhouse, located in Crossroads Village, was used by students from 1883 to 1963. The purpose of this program is to provide students and their teachers with a typical school day experience circa 1800s. We achieve this experience through the use of our authentic, one-room schoolhouse, provide each class with a trained schoolteacher who instruct students by using teaching styles and materials from the 1800s and we encourage students, teachers and chaperones to dress in clothing typical of the 1800s.

Reservations can be made starting September 15 of the current year for any session dates in the following year. Session dates are: 4/15 to 6/15 Monday – Friday. Reservations will be accepted through March 1 of the session year. No reservations will be taken after March 1 for the current year.

If you have questions, please contact our reservation office at 810-736-7100, ext. 6 or 800-648-PARK, ext. 6 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
