6th Annual Shoe Year’s Day

 

Walk, Ski, or Shoe!  No matter your choice, you can start the New Year out actively at For-Mar during our Shoe Year’s Day event. This statewide initiative between mParks (the Michigan Recreation and Park Association), the Michigan DNR, and local Parks and Recreation agencies includes a one-mile hike, snowshoe or ski.  We’ll even have presentations on how to set and keep your New Year’s resolutions.  Come dressed for the weather.  Please bring your own cross county skis and snowshoes if you have them.  Some snowshoes will be available to check out on a first come, first served basis.

For families, suggested for ages 5 and older, all abilities.

 Cost: $1 per person.

Pre-registration is required by 1/4/18.
