Kayaking in Parks

Join the Flint River Watershed Coalition and For-Mar Nature Preserve and Arboretum as we enjoy a peaceful nature tour along the Flint River. The Flint River is home to a large variety of wildlife, including bald eagles, osprey, deer, turtles, muskrat and a variety of fish. Come find out who calls the Flint River home and what you can do to help protect this wonderful natural resource.

Participants ages 10 and older can paddle by themselves. Younger children can participate by riding with an adult.

Cost: $10 per person with own kayak or $15 per person if renting.

To register please contact the Flint River Watershed Coalition at jwelch@flintriver.org or 810-767-7140.  All paddles are subject to the weather and water conditions, so pre-registering is required.

Pre-registration required by 6/13/18.
