Sap to Syrup – Maple Sugaring in your Backyard

For-Mar Nature Preserve & Arboretum –  DeWaters Building, off Potter Rd.

Celebrate Spring! Discover the basics of making maple syrup from your own maple tree. Learn to identify and select a maple tree. Witness the ancient process of collecting the sap, then boiling it down to syrup. We will finish with a PURE maple syrup treat! Dress for the weather, as this is an outdoor program. Register early, this program fills quickly!

For all ages.

Time: (3 times slots) 9:30 – 11am, 12 – 1:30pm, 2:30 – 4pm  Cost: $5 per person.

Pre-registration is required by 3/12/21, space is limited to 20 participants, Covid-19 in-person program guidelines are required.
