Science Day

If you’re fascinated by unusual inventions, engineering and science come to Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad, June 16  when we’ll feature inventors and inventions from the 19th century to now.

Learn about steam power and how it is used in many different forms throughout the Village then and now. See demonstrations, and listen to some of the great history from our Village interpreters.

On this special day in the Village, several organizations, groups and schools will be on hand to encourage and inspire your interest in science and technology.

  • FIRST Robotics teams from Kettering University and local high schools will be set up inside Mill Street Warehouse to compete using elements of the 2018 FIRST Robotics playing field.
  • Visit the Science Day 2018, special Innovator Guest of Honor, Cre Fuller, Tin Angry Man Robotic Artist, at the Kreation Station – where participants can make a cool robot from recycled materials
  • Factory Two will be inside the Mill Street Warehouse giving 3D Printer demonstrations and offering hands-on button making.
