Volunteer Day-Water Quality Monitor Training

With the Flint River Watershed Coalition
For-Mar Nature Preserve & Arboretum, Pavilion
Some call them Benthic Macroinvertebrates, others call them River Critters, many just call them bugs, but one thing is certain; they tell us how healthy our rivers, lakes, and streams are.  It’s also a lot of fun finding them – but we need your help to do it!  It’s easy to volunteer just sign up and come out and learn how to be a citizen scientist.
For more information and to sign up to be a volunteer visit: http://flintriver.org/blog/programs/water-monitoring/
Cost: Free.
Pre-registration is required by 4/9/21 . Contact Jaime Welch at jwelch@flintriver.org or call (810)789-8567
