County parks are open daily from 8:00 a.m. to sunset. This includes Buell Lake, Flushing, Linden, Richfield County Parks, Bluebell, Buttercup, and Clover Beaches, Zemmer Park, Goldenrod Disc Golf Course, Elba Equestrian Center and Cummings Center.

 

Alcohol Policy for All Parks
No alcohol or illegal substances allowed. Park rangers will issue tickets with fines of up to $100 for all violations.

$35 per event that does not fall under Special Events Policy, including weddings, ball fields, dock permits, Inflatables and other rentals, noise permits, horse & carriage rides, etc. Please call 800.648.7275, ext. 816.

Metal Detector Permit - $10 Individual; $20 Family

This permit is non-transferable.

You must have permit in your possession at all times or a Park Ranger may ticket you.

This permit is to use your metal detector on Genesee County Parks & Recreation Commission property, which is open for use by the General public, through the expiration date shown on the front of this permit.  This excludes Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad and For-Mar Nature Preserve and Arboretum.

This permit is valid only during normal operating hours and days.

It is further agreed that you will pay for any damages done by you to Commission Property at a rate to be determined by the Genesee County Parks & Recreation Commission on an individual basis. 

Pet Policy

Dogs or other animal pets must be leashed at all times. All dogs and other animal pets leash must not exceed six feet in length. Pets must always be under immediate control of the owner.

Huckleberry Railroad

 $3,500 Minimum, Non-Operating Day

 $150 per day

Crossroads Village Gazebo

 $100 per 8 hrs. - A $50 non-refundable deposit is due at the time the reservation is made.

Carousel Ride (whole building)

 $150 per hour

Coldwater Road Chapel

 $300 per 8 hrs. ($150 with catered reception)
