It is my great pleasure to share some awesome news with you. The C.S. Mott Foundation has approved our request for operating support in the fiscal year that began on October 1, 2012.
The document attached describes the grant award and also gives a little history of the tremendous support that the C.S. Mott Foundation has provided to the Genesee County Parks over more than 40 years.

Thanks to an $83,000.00 grant from the C.S. Mott Foundation, Genesee County Parks and Recreation Commission will replace For-Mar Nature Preserve and Arboretum’s telephone pole bridge, which was removed 3 years ago, with a new steel-frame footbridge.
