CLICK HERE to take our Teacher Survey Teachers, get your students involved in a one of a kind, learning experience at Crossroads Village and the Huckleberry Railroad, Michigan's only authentic 1800's village. Students can put on their thinking caps and get a feel for life in the days of Abraham Lincoln and Harriet Tubman. There’s a lively show in the Colwell Opera House and historic activities are underway in the Village, homes and shops. Your students will enjoy a ride on one of our vintage amusement rides, or for those who are physically challenged, enjoy a wheelchair swing ride.
Student tickets include admission to the village and train ride, ages 3-12. Teachers (one teacher per class) and bus drivers receive free admission and adult escorts are admitted at the student rate. The Charles W. Parker Carousel, Superior Wheel, pony cart, miniature Flyer Train and Venetian Swing rides are $1.25 each or 4/$4.00. After taking in all that history, one works up an appetite. Lunch is served from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Enjoy your sack lunch or purchase a box lunch at the Mill Street Warehouse. Groups of 20 or more who purchase their lunch in advance receive guaranteed seating. Call the number below to reserve your lunch.
