Pop-Up Water Monitoring Program With the Flint River Watershed Coalition

Come observe first-hand how the Flint River Watershed Coalition monitors our local river ways. We will be onsite searching for Benthic Macroinvertebrates or what you might call water bugs, to determine how healthy our rivers, lakes, and streams are.  This is a great chance to see just how easy it is to volunteer to keep the river clean and become a citizen scientist at For-Mar.
For more information and to sign up to be a volunteer visit: http://flintriver.org/blog/programs/water-monitoring/
For all ages, all abilities.
Cost: Free.
Pre-registration  not required.
