Bluegill Boat Launch
Bluegill Boat Launch is a great spot for a peaceful walk or a refreshing bike ride. With a two-and-a-half-mile stretch of paved, ADA-compliant trail, you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the picturesque Mott Lake shoreline. The trail continues all the way to Stepping Stone Falls as part of the Flint River Trail.
Love fishing? Love boating? Then you’ll love Mott Lake. Bluegill Boat Launch offers convenient access to get your boat on the water and the fun underway. Kayak rentals are also available, and a brand-new day-use pavilion adds even more to enjoy.
Entrances are on Coldwater Road at Center Road and on Genesee Road south of Stanley Road. There is a no wake speed limit on Mott Lake.

Permits must be permanently affixed to the window of your vehicle. Boat launch annual pass are valid for the operating season (April – September). Vehicle permits can be purchased at the Administrative Office during regular business hours in March, or at the boat launches from April – September. Credit Cards and debit cards are now accepted at all paid boat launches.
Rentals
Kayak Rental is available at Bluegill Boat Launch. Visit https://www.rent.fun/genesee-county-mi for pricing and information. Kayak rental available seasonally.

Snowmobiling In This Park
Snowmobile areas are open 24 hours a day when conditions are suitable. Facilities open when the terrain is frozen and when there is a 3-inch accumulation of snow. Please remember that snow accumulation on the ground is not an indicator of frozen terrain. For dates and times facilities will be open for these activities, please call 810.736.7100.
