America 250 Passbook
As we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary in 2026, we recognize the important historical events in Genesee County that were shaped by-and helped shape-the direction of our nation. To honor and explore this rich history, many organizations throughout the county have created special events for this anniversary year, including exhibits, lectures, festivals, tours, and more.
This is a passbook to our shared past. Here you will find listings of events taking place between May 1 and September 30, 2026. Visit as many events as you like during this period, and be sure to collect a stamp for each one on the corresponding page of this passport book. Rewards are available for 5 or more stamps. Rewards may be redeemed at the Museum Store inside the Sloan Museum of Discovery on the Flint Cultural Center campus. And don’t worry-you get to keep your passport book as a souvenir.
Passbooks must be redeemed by October 31, 2026 to qualify for prizes.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Visit
Explore participating locations May 1-September 30, 2026.
2. Get Stamped
Receive one stamp per event at each participating location.
3. Redeem for Rewards
Bring in your completed passport to Sloan Museum and get your rewards.
Passbooks should be presented at the Sloan Museum of Discovery Museum Store before October 31, 2026 to redeem rewards.
Those collecting 5 or more stamps are eligible for the following prizes:
5 STAMPS: Receive a custom 3-D printed commemorative token with the Genesee 250 logo.
10 STAMPS: Receive a struck metal commemorative collectible coin featuring the America 250 logo and Genesee County star on the reverse side.
Rewards are limited, only available while supplies last.
