Bluegill Boat Launch
Like fishing? Like boating? Then you’re going to love Mott Lake. Bluegill Boat Launch is the convenient access point for getting your boat on the water . . . and your fun started.
Entrances are on Coldwater Road at Center Road and on Genesee Road south of Stanley Road. There is a no wake speed limit on Mott Lake.
Bluegill Boat Launch is also the perfect place to take a walk or a refreshing bike ride. With a two and half mile stretch of trail through the area you can take in the sights and sounds of the picturesque Mott Lake shoreline on a paved ADA compliant trail that continues to Stepping Stone Falls as part of the Flint River Trail.

Permits must be permanently affixed to the window of your vehicle. Boat launch annual pass are valid for the operating season (April – September). Vehicle permits can be purchased at the Administrative Office during regular business hours in March, or at the boat launches from April – September. Credit Cards and debit cards are now accepted at all paid boat launches.
Rentals
Kayak Rental now available at Bluegill Boat Launch Visit https://www.rent.fun/genesee-county-mi for pricing and information. Kayak rental available seasonally.

Snowmobiling In This Park
Snowmobile areas are open 24 hours a day when conditions are suitable. Facilities open when the terrain is frozen and when there is a 3-inch accumulation of snow. Please remember that snow accumulation on the ground is not an indicator of frozen terrain. For dates and times facilities will be open for these activities, please call 810.736.7100.
