Here are some tips for hard to get rid of items.

City of Flint residents who have a large amount of trash that needs to be picked up might need to arrange for a bulk pickup. Click here to see if what you’re trying to get rid of fits the bulk pickup criteria.

The Michigan Department of Environment, Great lakes and Energy (EGLE) maintains a list of Scrap Tire Facilities, registered haulers, collection sites, processors, and end users. It can be found by clicking here.

It’s always best to contact the waste hauler that services your community for specific information and instructions for getting hard to rid of items picked up.

Don’t forget that May is Love Your City Month in the City of Flint! It’s the perfect opportunity to do some spring cleaning at your residence or in your neighborhood,
