Finding the right setting makes a special day. The environment you choose can enhance the overall mood of your social gatherings and give your guests something worth remembering. At Genesee County Parks, we have different grounds and facilities to help you celebrate different occasions.

Crossroads Village is a historic Great Lakes town with over 30 vintage structures. It takes you back in time and offers unique backdrops, including the Huckleberry Railroad and Coldwater Road Chapel.

For-Mar Nature Preserve & Arboretum is a breathtaking 383-acre park, the perfect site for weddings, birthday parties and business retreats.

We also offer additional locations to host everything from engagement photo shoots to reunions to corporate events: Stepping Stone Falls, Richfield County Park, Linden County Park, Wolverine Campground and Bluebell Beach, to name a few.

So when it’s time to get away, right away, we can make any day special at your Genesee County Parks.

Historic Weddings

Crossroad Village

Crossroads Village is a uniquely historic setting for your ceremony. Choose from the Coldwater Road Chapel or the Village Gazebo.

Weddings can be booked between April 1 through July 31 and the day after Labor Day through September 30.

Our Carousel can be rented, call for pricing.

Natural Weddings

For-Mar

Maybe the great outdoors is more your style and you want your wedding to reflect that. Genesee County Parks has the solution. Consider having your ceremony in the historic allée of For-Mar Nature Preserve & Arboretum’s Maple Walk.

The Maple Walk is available May 15 through October 15 for parties of 50 people or less. Get started by scheduling a walk through with staff by calling 810.789.8568

Iconic Weddings

Stepping Stone Falls

Plan your vows with the backdrop of water cascading over the rocks and cliffs of Stepping Stone Falls. We will not book more than 1 wedding per time slot, so you can use whatever location within the falls you wish. However please remember that the park will still be open to the public. Reservations must be made through reservations staff. No online bookings available. No alcoholic beverages are allowed in this park.

All set-up, decorating, ceremony, pictures, clean-up, etc. must take place within your reserved time block.

Richfield County Park

Get married on the iconic rock bridge within the park and then host the reception in a nearby pavilion.

We will not book more than one wedding per time slot however please remember that the park will still be open to the public.

Reservations must be made through reservations staff.

No online bookings available. No alcoholic beverages are allowed in this park. All set-up, decorating, ceremony, pictures, clean-up, etc. must take place within your reserved time block.
