Into the Wild: Summer Kick-offKick-off the summer with an exciting adventure into the great outdoors! Campers will hike, meet live animals, explore our mud pit, and connect with nature through team-building games and eco-friendly crafts. It’s the perfect start to a summer of exploration and fun!

Animal EncountersGet up close and personal with For-Mar’s Animal Ambassadors in this action-packed week! Campers will learn about the animals in their own backyard and what makes them unique. Join us on a wild adventure that will spark curiosity about the creatures that share our habitats. |

Water AdventuresGet ready for a week full of water adventures! Dive into the world of water, where you’ll discover hidden aquatic creatures from For-Mar’s ponds and learn all about the amazing life that thrives underwater. With fun-filled activities, you’ll make a splash while learning why water is so important to the planet and all the creatures who depend on it. |
WEEK 7Monday, August 4 – Friday, August 8 |
Digging Deep: Mud WeekEmbrace the mess with a week dedicated to all things mud! Campers will leap into nature’s messy wonders, from creating muddy art to exploring the importance of soil and ecosystems. It’s a fun, hands-on way to learn about the environment from the ground up! |
WHAT TO BRING:
- Backpack
- Refillable water bottle
- Sack Lunch (for Owlets and Eagles only, there is NOT a refrigerator available so please plan accordingly)
- Snacks x 2
- Sun hat / baseball hat
- Properly fitting, closed-toe shoes
- Spare clothes (extra set of socks, pants, underwear, and t-shirt)
- Raincoat or poncho
- Water shoes and/or mud boots
- Spray Sunscreen and/or Bug spray (optional)
- Hand sanitizer (they will have access to a bathroom and our hand sanitizer)
- *Dress to be outside rain or shine.
PLEASE AVOID BRINGING:
- Flip flops
- Dress up clothes/costumes
- Clothing that needs to stay “‘clean”
- Electronics and/or valuable items (game devices, tablets, cell phones, etc.)
- Any valuables including cell phones (staff will have phones on their person if needed)
- If phones are brought to camp, they need to be stored in a sealed bag in the camper’s backpack.
- Toys from home
- Weapons, including pocketknives and/or multi-tools.
- Drugs, vapes, and/or alcohol.
PLEASE LABEL ALL OF YOUR CAMPER’S GEAR. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST, STOLEN, DAMAGED ITEMS.
*Any lost/found items will be placed in the lost and found. Please be sure to check this at the end of each day/week.
